- 500g ground beef
- 250g ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and allspice in a bowl.
- Shape into small meatballs.
- Heat butter in a pan and brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Add flour to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth and cream until smooth.
- Return meatballs to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or lingonberry jam.
- For a lighter version, use ground turkey.
