  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Heat your skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once it shimmers, toss in the diced onions.
  • Sauté onions until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds more, watching carefully to prevent burning.
