A delightful tart combining the sweetness of figs and honey with the crunch of pistachios.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup fresh figs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, butter, and sugar in a bowl until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and cold water. Knead into a dough.
  4. Roll out the dough and press it into a tart pan.
  5. Bake the crust for 15 minutes until golden.
  6. Arrange fig slices on the crust.
  7. Drizzle honey over the figs.
  8. Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
  9. Bake for another 20 minutes.
  10. Let it cool before serving.
