1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup caramel bits
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
Sea salt for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Fold in caramel bits and cream cheese.
Scoop dough onto a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Sprinkle with sea salt while warm.
Cool before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
For extra caramel flavor, drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
