A hearty and comforting casserole with ground beef, noodles, and a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups egg noodles, cooked
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix cooked noodles, beef mixture, soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Transfer to a greased casserole dish.
  5. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom.
  • Add peas or carrots for extra vegetables.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
